Automatic Gearbox Servicing – Newton Abbot

Automatic and DSG Gearbox Servicing from AC Garage Services in Newton Abbot.

At AC Garage Services in Newton Abbot, we offer automatic and DSG gearbox servicing for most makes and models. We use industry-leading equipment to carry out a 100% gearbox oil flush, removing all of the old, contaminated transmission fluid  – not just a partial drain like some basic services provide. This deep-clean process ensures your transmission stays well-lubricated, performs smoothly, and lasts longer.

Whether you drive a DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox), S-Tronic, Tiptronic, or a traditional torque converter automatic, your gearbox needs regular servicing to avoid costly issues such as harsh shifting, slipping gears, or transmission failure. At AC Garage Services, our technicians are fully trained and experienced in dealing with complex automatic systems and use only manufacturer-approved fluids and procedures.

We’re trusted by customers across Newton Abbot and surrounding areas, offering dealer-level gearbox care at a more affordable, independent garage price. Regular automatic and DSG servicing, typically every 40,000 to 60,000 miles, can save you thousands in long-term repair costs and drastically improve your vehicle’s driving feel.

If you’re experiencing gearbox issues or are due for a service, contact AC Garage Services in Kingsteignton, just outside Newton Abbot, today to book your full transmission fluid flush and gearbox service. We’ll keep your automatic or DSG gearbox running like new.

With our affiliations with highly regarded motoring organisations such as the Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Repair Alliance, The Good Garage Scheme and the Institute of the Motor Industry, AC Garage Services is proud to maintain a status that underlines service excellence, fair and honest pricing, and an exceptional level of customer service to give customers the best the Newton Abbot area has to offer.
